Black Boots

The leyend of Black boots is about a woman who was a prostitute in the 60's, and she got murdered close to Tocopilla, her grave is in the General Gaveyard in Calama, she is visited by a lot of people who think that she gaves some favors when you put flowers or "mandas"* in her grave.

"Mandas" are a certain kind of things that you do when you want something, like cutting your hair or going down by your knees to the grave.

                                     
 Some people saw her after death, walking around. We went to the cementary and we found the guard, who acept our interview.

Don José: "I saw her a couple of times, with her long hair, and her black boots, I always see her backwards, so she didn't reveal her face, usually she appears at 12 or 1 o'clock."

Have you followed her in those times when she appears?

 Don José: "No, I'm afraid to look at her face or her body, because she was murdered horribly, so it is better this way"

How many times did you see her?

Don José: "Maybe 15 or 16 in this year"

Wow! that´s alot. Her vibration is a good or a bad one?

Don José: "She has good vibrations, it isn't like some other ghosts here, her vibrations cause you calm and peace."
